SUWANEE, Ga. -- The 11Alive News This is Home morning show tour returned to Gwinnett County this week for a live broadcast in beautiful Suwanee.
Ted Hall and Elle Duncan received a warm welcome from one of the country's best places to live when they and the morning crew rolled into Town Center Park at 4:30 a.m. Friday.

It's easy to see why Suwanee is considered one of America's finest towns. It's safe, clean, has excellent schools and is generally a great place to live, play and do business.
And residents know their town well -- Ted and Elle couldn't stump anyone with their Suwanee trivia questions.

Mayor Jimmy Burnette also stopped by to meet the anchors and represent his town.

The city takes the arts very seriously and always has new and unique artistic offerings for residents, such as a piece of the Berlin Wall on display outside City Hall. 11Alive's Jeremy Campbell explored Suwanee's arts scene.
Young people in Suwanee are very enthusiastic about the arts as well. The Suwanee Academy of the Arts recently staged a fun production of Shrek the Musical.

The Traveling Praise Team from Sugar Hill Christian Academy came to the show and performed several praise and worship songs.

Suwanee was the 17th stop on the summer tour. Past visits include College Park, Cartersville, Lilburn, Marietta, Decatur/Druid Hills, McDonough, Cumming, Duluth, Powder Springs, Douglasville, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, Downtown Atlanta, Norcross, Dallas and Stockbridge.
Next week, the show will stay inside the Perimeter and broadcast from the brand new city of Brookhaven.
