Free Family Festival: Suwanee Day 2010

Atlanta, GA--  Everyone is invited to join the celebration of community at Suwanee Day Festival. The festival is a fun for the whole family event including parade, arts and crafts vendors, music and performances, children’s activities, street performers, farmers market and a variety of food and beverage vendors located at the new Town Center Park and Amphitheater.

The Bradham family of Suwanee are the Ultimate Eagle Scouts

Atlanta, GA--  The Bradham family has the unique distinction of having a complete family of Eagle Scouts. There are 6 boys in the family which have all enthusiastically gone through the necessary steps to attain the elite honor of Eagle Scout.  According to the father, they were never pushed into service but fell into it.  Though, it is not hard to imagine why, due to the tradition of service that has been in their family for more than 80 years.

Both the father of 6, and their 84 year old grandfather are both accomplished Eagle Scouts as well, which means this Suwanee family has a record of service spanning more than 1 generation.  The youngest sons Spencer and Trevor, who are both sophomores at Gwinnett High, spent the last year contributing over 300 hours each to community service projects throughout Georgia.

The boys' scout leader is quoted as saying, "Ultimately it's about honesty, integrity and service.
